Kansas Wins Tourney, Busts My Bracket

VIEW KC’S FINAL NCAA BRACKET

Kansas officially busted my bracket with a thrilling 75-68 win over Memphis in the NCAA Div. 1 Men’s Basketball Championship Game. I had Kansas bowing out to Georgetown…but little did I know that Davidson would make a trek all the way to the Elite 8, zooming past Georgetown before losing to Kansas.

I give Kansas a lot of credit though, they destroyed a team (UNC) that was destroying everyone else. I think Kansas was the only team that could’ve beat UNC in this tournament, but I was wrong and went with UNC and paid the price.

Kudos for Memphis for the most wins in one season all-time (38). My bias toward the legendary UCLA program led me to pick them over Memphis, when in reality they were the weakest No. 1 seed of all. When it was all said and done, Kansas was victorious and my final Yahoo! bracket stats looked like this:

Final rank: 762,296 (a drop of 110,282)
Percentile: 66th
Picks: 46 of 63 for 95 points
