Sox Lose Battle of the Bullpens

Starter/reliever Julian Tavarez was designated for assignment Monday by the Red Sox. The Sox now have 10 days to trade him or he will be released out right.
Tavarez, who turns 35 in 10 days, is 0-1 with a 6.57 ERA for the Sox this year, mostly in a spot starting role. Sean Casey was activated off the disabled list and took his place on the roster.
My Take: Does anyone really care? Anyone at all?
