Brisebois Leads Canadiens Past Bruins

Patrice Brisebois had a goal and two assists as the Montreal Canadiens scored three power-play goals in the second period of a 3-1 preseason victory over the Boston Bruins on Wednesday night.

Brisebois got his first goal in two games and assisted on goals by Alex Kovalev and Guillaume Latendresse as the Canadiens scored three times with the man advantage on Boston goalie Manny Fernandez.

Montreal goalie Jaroslav Halak lost a bid for his second straight shutout 9:33 into the third period when Bruins captain Zdeno Chara, making his first preseason appearance, scored on the power play.
