Patriots Sign Paris Lenon

The Patriots signed former Detroit Lions linebacker Paris Lenon on Wednesday to help a depleted linebacker corps. The Patriots needed some linebacker help after missing out on Jason Taylor and Ray Lewis, and the injury to third round pick Tyrone McKenzie.

Lenon is a veteran of seven NFL seasons, four with Green Bay and three with Detroit in which he played in all 112 games, starting the last 63. The Lions finished 0-16 in 2008, so the Lenon will be looking to win his first NFL game since 2007 if he stays on with the Pats.
