Mark Cuban Will Be Maverick On Raw

Mark Cuban, during the 2009 playoffs, telling Denver Nuggets' Forward Kenyon Martin's mother that her son is a thug (totalprosports.com).

Mark Cuban will be at it again next Monday, when WWE presents Monday Night Raw live from Dallas. Cuban has never shied away from controversy, so he’ll be sure to fit in right at home hosting the show Monday (though he’ll have to follow Verne “Mini-Me” Troyer, which can’t be easy).

With a Celtics/Mavericks Finals looking like a legitimate possibility, it will be interesting to see what Cuban says about his team’s impressive start and its future, though in all likelihood, chasing the Suns and Lakers will have higher priority than a match against the Celtics. But with Boston-area native John Cena the champion once again, and with Randy Orton barred from another title match, Cuban will likely have plans for Cena (and his next challenger, Sheamus).

Yet again, Boston area sports has a chance to interact with a powerful opponent. And with Cuban known for doing all sorts of crazy things, how will he shake the WWE Universe upside down? Tune in next Monday (9:00pm EST, USA Network) to find out.
